Valentine's Day is a traditional celebration in which friends, lovers, boyfriends or spouses express their love or affection to each other. It is celebrated on February 14, St. Valentine's Day. In some countries it is called Valentine's Day and in others it is called the Day of Love and Friendship. It is currently celebrated through the exchange of love notes known as valentines, with symbols such as the shape of the heart or Cupid, although with the popularity of the Internet nowadays it is also customary to exchange virtual postcards.
